MINISTRIES
There are endless ministry opportunities awaiting you at Hilltop Christian Fellowship. Many with flexible schedules so you can “try them on for size”. We believe that the body of Christ has many parts and each one equally important to the other so there is no opportunity too small to serve God.
Most ministries have a very simple assimilation process, while those involving youth and children require an official application process.
YOUTH MINISTRY
The main focus of C.H.A.O.S. (Choosing Him Above Other Stuff) is to provide a safe and enjoyable area where students grades 6-12 can learn about God’s love and purpose in their lives. We strive to teach the students how to best serve God and how to develop a strong relationship with him. As the leadership team we strive to set the example by living Christ-filled lives, which we do by constantly seeking God’s direction in both our lives and the decision making process for CHAOS.
MICAH'S BACKPACK
The Micah’s Backpack program in Washington County follows a model established in Blacksburg, VA. The program is designed to feed hungry students through a partnership between each elementary school and one or more churches/organizations in its community. Brought to Washington County in 2010, the program now serves over 775 students in 28 elementary schools and involves partnerships with 45 churches and 2 private schools.
MISSIONS
For years, Hilltop has supported missionaries and missions organizations locally and around the world that exist to bring the gospel and hope to people in different areas of the world. By partnering with missionaries on the field we are able to offer Mission Trips to give members of our church family the opportunity to gain exposure to another culture or city outside of their every day.
KIDS MINISTRY
Hilltop Kids is a ministry designed just for kids and is the overall children’s ministry for ages preschool through 5th grade. Utilizing high energy worship music, eye-popping multimedia, and solid Bible based lessons, Hilltop Kids will focus on themes to help build in our children a lifelong foundation of faith.
WORSHIP & PRAISE TEAM
Hilltop’s Worship and Praise Team serves the Lord through music and song with a mixture of today’s worship songs combined with traditional hymnals. The Praise Team’s purpose is not to entertain an audience, but to help bring a body of believers into a Spirit of Worship that is pleasing to God. Our Praise Team constantly relies on the Holy Spirit to guide them, and to help fulfill that which they have been called to do.
SMALL GROUP
The Small-Groups Ministry Team wants to help everyone find and be a part of an active small group. We believe small groups are the key to connecting in a biblical way with other members at Hilltop CF. A small group provides healthy fellowship in a community marked by Christian love and oneness. Small groups can help you to “grow up” as a Christian, including helping you discover and learn to use your spiritual gifts.
